Phase II negotiation is focusing on protocol on Investment, Intellectual Property Right, Competition Policy, Women & Youth in Trade and Ecommerce, the first three negotiations have commenced and are in the process of drafting their protocols while Women & Youth in Trade will begin with a workshop on 12thto 14th Sept in Tanzania which will give directions on how the negotiations will evolve, Ecommerce is expected to start negotiations this year.
NOTN has been actively involved in all the negotiations as well as bringing the key relevant stakeholders to participate in these negotiations. For the implementation, the implementation of the AfCFTA saddled under the National AC with the coordination of NOTN
